Murray Cod on Australia day morning!

There could not have been a more Aussie, Australia day!

Camping on the Murray River, having BBQ's and catching Murray Cod, it was perfect. The conditions seemed OK for fishing with a low pressure system just past, the water dropping and clear and a hot couple of day ahead.

First surprise was a swimming spiky echidna in an Anna branch of the river. Then the favorite Codger lure proved irresistible on the troll. We picked up 7 great fish with chartreuse colors the pick.
